Great news, Charles Mwewa, author of the indomitable, most comprehensive book in terms of content and size, Zambia: Struggles of My People, has won the prestigious prize in the category of entrepreneurship, development, and economic book. The book could have won any best prize in politics or law or culture or education, or indeed, foreign relations and technology. This encyclopedic, mammoth, tome of a magnum opus is the first of its type in Zambia. It has been dubbed, “The Zambian encyclopedia, and the fate of Zambia lies in it.”
Charles Mwewa himself is a prolific Zambian Canadian author who has penned over 50 books to his name in all genres – fiction, nonfiction, poetry, and novels. Indeed, the Ottawa International Book Expo has recognized Charles Mwewa’s contribution to literary excellence not only in Canada but all over the globe. The Rogers TV, one of the largest TV and media monopolies in Canada, has described Charles Mwewa as “an author with the most books written by one single author.” In an interview, Charles told the Agora Media that his dream is to “write over 300 books to his name before he dies.”
